      312299 (312-202-RN) Inventory run

      Will assume mould blocks will be Aluminum if not requested as Brass. 

      This mould will be available in Gas Check (GC) and Plain Base (PB) configurations.

      We will be running 2 cavity, 2 cavity Brass, 3 cavity, 4 cavity, 4 cavity Brass, 5 cavity. We will offer mixed GC and PB in 2 cavity & 4 cavity

      Top punch, wrenches and sprue lube are extras now if you want them

              Just a question
              When I look at what people have requested and every one has requested a 4 cav mold and only 2 of us have requested a 5 cavity.
              is the 4 cav mold that much better ? than the 5 ?

                It really depends on the individual. With the five cavity you get one more bullet each casting cycle.

                However for me with arthritic hands I find the four cavity to be lighter, less cumbersome and better balanced so I can cast for longer and get more bullets per session with the four cavity than I can with the five, for me it is not just the extra weight but the extra length of the five cavity that makes it more awkward to use.

                I wish I could handle a five cavity but as age creeps up we are no longer the person we once were.

                Other people will no doubt have their own reasons for their preference.

                Bullet quality is the same regardless of the number of cavities.

                  I cast with a ladle and 4 cavs @ 202 gns is all I can fill with one dip so 4 cav is max for me…
