These were cast with almost pure lead with some tin and they came out right at 91 grains. The one on the left is as cast and the one on the right was coated in Hi-Tek Kryptonite green and sized in a NOE push through sizer.
S&W mod 16 in .32 Mag. I shoot 32 MAG’s in it but I also shoot a lot of .32 S&WL’s loaded with wadcutters in it also. It shoots very well even with the short round in the longer chamber. There actually is data for WC’s in the .32 mag case I want to try out to see if I can get the benefit of the extended nose in a case that puts it in the throat of the cylinder. Also curious how they shoot compared to other WC’s in the S&WL cases.
I powder coated them yellow and drew faces on a few of them. They look just like lego heads. I sized them down to 311 and then loaded some up for the 300 blk single shot rifles. I loaded them as supersonics to be a light weight dueling tree load. They will indeed flip the paddles if they are going fast enough. My kids love em.
I did see that someone had loaded them in 30-30 for a T/C Contender and since I have one of those I was thinking of trying It out also. Never thought of loading some for my .300 BO bolt gun. I guess I could also try some out in my 7.62×39 CZ bolt gun also.
