      Why not have a good Loverin style for the various .338s? The 338 Fed, 338 ME, and 338/06 all have a solid fan base, and the 338 Win is an indisputable favorite. You can add Weatherby, Ruger, and Remington to the list of offerings available today.
      I’d like to see an offering in the lower 200+ grain range for the short-necked 308 class options, and a 250+ for those long necked 338/06 types.
      I’d be in for both.

        I`m looking for a mold that will work in both my .338/06 and my .338 Win. Mag.  If I read correctly in the earlier posts that my want won`t happen.  I`m leaning toward the lighter mold version.  Would my wish for dual use of it happen or be a maybe it will and maybe it won`t thing?      Robert

          The length of the neck area of the chamber is .347. The length of the neck of the case, at 2.500 is .333. So, yes the short version will work on the 338 Win Mag.  Crimping a trimed case (2.48) will be difficult though but, some of the GC should still be in the neck, even if crimped.

            Frank, thanks for all your help and effort. I’ll be thrilled regardless of the drawing generating enough interest to get moved to the “Active”catagory. The second will get it’s own discussion thread started shortly thereafter.

                I have posted in 3 areas of cast boolit, including the lever action section for the 33 Win.

                I have one more option in my ASSRA forum but, I have to make a PB drawing for that. I’ll do it tomorrow but, I’m not sure it will sell over there.

                    Al,
                    I have 4 people over on the ASSRA forum that would like one of these in PB but, 2 of them say they don’t want to join the forum to order it and a third says that he would prefer not to.

                    Can they order it w/o joining the forum? I can get you their Email address if that would help. Also, I think most of them will want it in brass.

                    I think that makes 7 total and I think there might be 2 more enterested that I know shoot 33’s.

                      We will have them listed in our web-store if they would like one, but it requires logging in to our website.
                      It does take getting on the group buy list to get the discount.
                      If you don’t mind me asking, what’s the problem with joining our forum?

                            I have 4 commited over on the ASSRA site and a 5th that is very interested but, hasn’t responded back to say he’ll buy.

                            I’ll post over there for a list of confirmed buyers and get back with that list. They know that they won’t get a discount that way and prefer that. I may pich up 1 or 2 more over there if they think it won’t be long until it’s ready.

                              For the 338 x 1.135, I have a additional six orders over at the ASSRA Forum and maybe one or two yet to be added. Most, I believe will want brass molds.

                              So, this should be good to go?
