Here are some results with 360 180gr WFP GC in HP form in 357mag
50/50WW +2% and coated with 2 coats HiTek red/copper sized .358
Rifle is a marlin microgroved 1894, about a 2moa performer with jacketed loads it likes
Win cases, CCI SPM primers and ADI2205 powder, I started at 12gr and worked up to 14gr
Velocity ranged from just over 1300fps to almost 1550fps5 shot groups at 50m so moa equals 14mm the five loads tested went
33mm
27mm
38mm 4 in to 12mm
52mm 4 in to 16mm
40mmStill cant help thinking sizing .359 might tighten groups a little more.
A change in lead might do likewise but I wanted to keep these reasonably soft for hunting

In my destroyed 1894c, I found 360 sizing in cast made better groups every time. I had to Beagle my molds to get to that size.
I say ‘destroyed’, as mine was a new ‘Remlin’ 1894c, and it shot the forearm off every 200 rounds, 3 times in a row, by bending then snapping the forearm pin. The wood fit was dire, a joke. I got a full refund, I was told the rifle would not be resold.
With the refund plus a bit extra, I got a Henry Big Boy in 357 now. Feels slick, like warm butter. Looks too good to shoot, needs to be on my wall…
The 360 180WFP is likely my next purchase from NOE for my new Henry.

Finally poked one of these through a deer, out looking for fallow that are just starting their rut, a mature fallow can top 200lb so within the 357s ability.
Bumped into a very young sambar, (sambar can top 600lb) this little fella would have only gone 100lb with a freezer empty of venison I decided to take him. About 70y and hit him a little further back than I would like with it quatering slightly towards me, clipped the near lung and liver bullet exited so don’t know how much expansion I got but only went 20y before falling over.
