Moderator::May I ask a question?
It appears to me that the Hollow Point versions utilizing the Flat nose pin are basically the same as the non RG bullet mould design that is currently in stock…
The RG moulds are currently listed as coming with a flat pin, and a cup point in addition to the Hollow point pin…

Would not one of the Regular GC in stock moulds get your rifle fed sooner rather than later… At least the cup is potentially half full in this instance… on this model mould design.
Or is it the fact that all the 2 cavity moulds of this design are sold out… that is of importance… here.
With most everything out of stock … partially stocked items will most probably need a goodly number of basically the same requests in a short time frame to get some degree of potential preference…

That being said I have noted your 2 cavity HP request on my unofficial list of requests for inventory runs…
Your call on how you want to proceed…

::Yes, I could go with a solid only mold, but would like the versatility of being able to choose hp or fn, specifically to be able to test terminal effects of the 2 types. Ideally it would be a 1 cav for best consistency, but I’ll take a 2 cav if that’s all I can get. It doesn’t seem the HP versions have been in stock in a long time, as there is still this thread running from 18 months ago.

Moderator::I sort of thought so, but I thought that I should ask … just in case you hadn’t noticed the design similarity.
Many HPs designs are cut down versions to increase the meplat for a more versatile HP design format taper.
Also there are times one can miss an opportunity to find a design that will work to feed a hungry firearm…
At least at the moment you are on the first on the current inventory request run list for a 2 cavity (RG2) HP mould.
Hopefully the others … from June & October of 2020 will post once again that they are still interested … to show that they are still interested in an RG2 version of the 360-313-FN RG2 GC.
AM I correct that you are potentially looking for an Aluminum RG2 version … as there does not appear to be an offering in an RG2 Brass HP mould of any kind… listed at the present time as an NOE offering… The devil is normally in the details…
All of the other RG (HP) version offerings appear to be RG4’s (4 cavity versions) in various GC & PB Formats…
Hopefully there will be at least 4 others that also want will want an RG2 Hollow Point version of that mould … within the inventory run request time frame…
I sincerely do wish you luck…
