i am realatively new to casting, i have probably only done about 3K or so for 40 s&w, 9mm, 45acp calibers.  that was enough for me to realize i need better molds than the ones i have from Lee.  not terrible, but not the quality i was looking for.  to anyone that has the 403 sized molds, how are you lubrisizing them?  i found a lubrisizer from Buffalo arms in 403, is that the way to go?  these will be shot through a sig 226 for paper punching if that adds some color to the use.

looking forward to ordering up a mold, just need to put to rest the size and lube concern.

      thanks,
      eric

I am using a couple .403 molds but I am powdercoating them and then push through sizing them.  I actually size them down to .401 for my guns.

The guys at Buffalo Arms will take a Lyman 401 and drill it out to 403. I’ve  ordered from them and I wasn’t too crazy about the resulting die. I usually go to Buckshot over on Cast Boolits. Send an email to that moniker over there and he can tell you his current pricing. The last time I  bought from him it was cheaper than BA.

            Eric,
Check out the NOE online store and get the Push Through Sizer Body and then get the bushing to size to .403 diameter and the 40 cal push rod and you should be good.

Here is the link to the bushing (I think): noebulletmolds.com/NV/product_info.php?cPath=104&products_id=2566

            And how it works:

            Hope it helps.
