I cast a few yesterday and had several problems. I would pour all cavities full, knock off the sprue, tap the handle several times ,turn the mold over to dump the bullets out and be unable to open the mold. I had heat cycled it 4 times the evening before and felt it was ready to make bullets. I had applied lube to the sprue plate and pins also. The one thing I had not done was adjust the mold handles. So back to the forum to read the section “tips for using a NOE mold”. I have never experienced a problem like this before but Al had the situation in hand and after reading his advice and adjusting the handle as described it lined up properly. I had also used hot water and dish soap to scrub the mold and thought it was clean. I could not make a good bullet so let it cool down and took it off the handles and scrubbed it again. Put it back together and onto the hot plate to heat up. I started to make bullets once again. I was running the pot at 700 and was still having problems so I turned it up to 725 and in minutes the mold was pumping  out nice well filled out bullets. Having a thermometer to watch pot temps is very helpful. That’s another great tool Al has on the web store. I think  if a person follows Al’s advice they  can  make almost flawless bullets. Thanks again Al for these great molds and the tools to do the job right.
