      I’d sure like to see a good DE or HB wadcutter for my 44 Special that I could lube in the conventional fashion.

            Sorry, GLL.  I missed your post.  I’m thinking of the 38 Special 148 grain double ended wadcutter upsized to 44.  I’d guess that would be in the 200 grain range.

                This is EXACTLY what I had in mind, Al.  Most of my shooting is in the backyard with family and friends shooting paper at 25 yards (occasionally at 50 and 100).  This looks like just the trick for a mild, accurate load.  THANKS (again)!

                      Will be running the 360 148Gr. WC tomorrow
                      Could run some 432 if any one wants one.
                      Will be doing RG2, RG4 Alum. and RG2 Brass

                                  I see that this thread has pretty much died, but I’m very interested in seeing a copy of the old Ideal/Lyman 429348.
