        I’ve used RD’s TL version of this bullet in a Marlin Guide Gun. Excellent results, meat in the freezer.

          So what powder did you use and how much ??
          What was your average grouping at 100 or more?
          Scoped or open sights?
          Alloy info would be useful also…

            I use 46grs Rx7, average group @ 100 is under 1.5″ and I use a low-powered Vari-X3 mounted on an early (ported) Marlin Guide Gun. Velocity 1800fps +/- IIRC. Verify the above load in a good manual of course, and DO NOT use it in a trapdoor or any other rifle less robust than the Marlin 1895.
