      I have a 1884 rod bayonet trapdoor with the Buffington rear sight which I use often in our local service rifle match. I currently use the Lee 405 HB bullet, cast 30/1, and SR 4759 powder. This is a great shooting combination, But I was wondering if anyone here has had luck with the NOE 460-405-RF-PB in a trapdoor? Thanks for any help.

        I don’t shoot the noe but shoot the same Lee hb 405 with 34 grains of 3031. cast 20:1. shot as cast also. have shot several sub moa groups with my two td’s.

          My M1888 RRB Trapdoor shoots excellent with the NOE 461-535 as cast over real gunpowder. I use the same bullet in CBA matches and our local BPCR matches.
