I have a 22 in American rifle in 450 bush coming my way. It has 1-16 twist and a lot of people seem to be shooting 250 gr in it. However, I was thinking to myself that as far as cast is concerned I can prob be successful shooting 350 gr easily.

The only thing that might get in my way is powder choices that may not give favorable pressure due to bullet weight.

The idea is I have imr 4198 and h110. I’d prefer to stick w h110. The bullets I have that I’m going to use is 460-350 ranch noe which I’ll size down to .452 which I do already for my muzzleloader sabots and my next choice is the Lee 452-300 gr flat nose but would prefer to just use the 350gr ranch sized down

My main goal is to see any experince and load data pertaining to the 350 gr start and finish loads w h110 and maybe imr 4198.

You should be able to use non-typical 450 bushmaster powders too since it is a bolt gun.  You can shoot trailboss under a nice heavy cast bullet for a heavyweight slower plinker, or use some Unique, or other faster pistol powders.  With cast in a bolt gun, you have lots of options.
