Participant::I would be interested.
The only reservation I have is the very narrow bottom driving band. I’m not sure why it isn’t as robust as the other driving bands, and have ocassionally found it to be fragile if casting fast with a hot mould.
I’d like to see that band widened in every mould I have that incorporates it. It seems to me that it would only improve an already excellent design.
Is there a reason for the narrow band that I’m missing?2015-03-03 at 17:06 #496157SwedeNelson

::My design was a TLC460-425 that I’ve renamed TLC460-435-RF to better reflect the actual weight of the bullet. When I designed the 460 series of bullets, I was using Lyman #2 as my target alloy and later changed it to wheel weights plus 2% tin to better reflect what my customers where using. I also failed to consider the weight of the gas check with all the “460” bullets so all have been renamed. Here is the drawing for my bullet.

Swede and I have started referring to my designs simple by diameter and weight, 460-435, as he is offering so that the lube grooves and nose styles (hollow point), don’t confuse the designations more than necessary.
