I just bought a noe bullet mould for my 500 s&w, and I’m looking for load data for their 375 grain speer point bullet. I’ve heard you can use trail now powder and fill up the case without compressing the charge.  Any information would be helpful. Thank you

Good morning. I also have the mold your purchased. I looked up my load card for it.
70% case fill of trail boss is 7.5 grains (691 fps)
100% case fill and max fill is 10.8 grains (854 fps)

On a side note, I’ve never used the trail boss load for this mold. This one was designed for deep penetration, so I use a different powder. Hope that helped and be safe.

I appreciate your response. What kind of powder are you using for your loads?  I was thinking of using the trail boss for light Target practice.

There are many great powder choices. I’ve only tried accurate 5744 and my main go to for this caliber is ramshot enforcer. In other molds I’ve enjoyed the trail boss loads and so does my girl. It can be a real fun one to shoot and custom tailor to the shooter. I know others really like imr 4227, I believe also.
I’m just a big fan of ramshot powders for the most part. Meter well and are very consistent. Enjoy your mold. It is one of my personal favorites.

h110 is going to give you the highest velocity but is sensitive to too light of charges.

Thanks you for the responses. Is there anywhere specific you go for your load data? I thought I had looked everywhere but I must be over looking something.

Thanks for the information I casted and loaded some bullets yesterday with 10.5 grains of trail boss and shot them today. It’s a great load for light Target shooting.
