Would it be possible to manufacture it with a single cavity? That might help shorten the production time.
I read where the bullet molds that England sent to the Confederacy were comprised of a single cavity. Was there a difference in the overall shape of the Pritchett style bullet cast in an original mold, compared to a swaged bullet? It looks like the mold shown in the college hill arsenal picture would produce a flat tip, just like the NOE mold. All of the swaged bullets I’ve seen have a rounded tip. I suppose the only way to have a rounded tip on a mold is to pour it from a side channel.
