I hope someone from NOE reads this and takes it seriously. NOE makes several .260 molds that look really good to me, except that they are .260 and not .258.
I know I’m sounding picky for posting this, but .260 is just too darn big a diameter and I don’t like sizing that far down. I don’t think I’m alone either. The
260-80-RF (RD) 4 cavity 2GC 2PB Brass 260-80-RF (RD) 4 cavity 2GC 2PB Brass in either Plain Base or GC would fly off the shelves if made in .258 as right now the only production mold that is acceptable to .257 air gunners is the Lyman 257420 and that’s only 65 grains and only two cavities.I’m sure that spitzers up to 90 grains with PB or GC and a similar bearing ring/gas check design would be welcome, as would a hollow point round.
