15 grains of Rel. 7 is my pet load in a 9 twist AR 16′ barrel. I get ~ 2000 fps. out of it and one inch groups at 100 yds. It always works the action and never found any lead fouling in the barrel or the gas system. These are gas checked bullets heat treated to 29 BHN.
