I have an old savage hornet bolt gun with a .223 bore. I’m not sure what the twist is and was hoping someone else would have an idea of what a good weight or mold might be for it. I like the flat nose on the 37 grainer but I’ll probably end up shooting a few bucks in the backyard with it.  Maybe a 55 grain? Is anyone else running something that works well?
      Thanks,            Jeff

I am using the 37gr boolit in a 218 Bee and it is working real good.I have run it from below a 1000 fps to over 1700fps using 9-1 ww/type mix.Barrel is 1-14 twist .224.Right now I have 10 22 cal molds and this NOE 225107 37gr. is my favorite.

Thanks Tcfan.  I was hoping to find someone with the same old rifle but responses have thin – to say the least.
