Can I subscribe to a thread?

I’ve been looking and cannot figure out how to subscribe.  It makes it so much easier to click on a “Subscribed” link and see all the threads.

This board is a different forum software so instead of calling it a subscription, it is called notification.  On any thread you have a notify button.  Once set, you can open your profile and notifications is listed in the menu at the left.  You can see all threads you are set to receive updates about and change how frequently you get emails on new content.
