I think this is a well designed, and made to last a long time. Also you and Dromia have started a trend that will be hard to follow. Great set-up…keep us posted on how it works. It would be nice if someone on this side of the pond would sell something that nice.
i didn’t hesitate at all when I saw pictures of that pot first time here. That could be some $$ to shipping fees to USA.. Well I paid one time 339€ shipping fees for one USA made Airgun but I just had to get it And it was Fedex so… My parcel weighted about 20kg so that could be some indicator how much it could be send it to USA. End of this week I could have time to do some test casting… I will post my results here
There is that awesome pot again. Wow, lucky guy. Not sure I would ever explain to my girl why I need one of those, but I have to say, if they ever do get a set up over here on this side of the pond, I would start figuring out how, lol. Those are the nicest pots I’ve seen. Enjoy it.
BTW I am thinking about getting another Sandmann pot, the price that second hand Pro Melts are going for would put me well on the way to the cost of another.
Not so much a spare but to save changing alloys, I currently run three pots anyway, the Sandmann, a Promelt and a Lyman dipping pot all containing different alloys.
