Damage to bases when powder coating question

So I’ve seen numerous videos which shows how some who powder coat actually tumble the bullets to apply the coating,…? Does not that damage the bullet base and adversely affect accuracy?

You might want o check your belling dies… Because it sounds to me like your base damage is coming from your belling dies not basically belling enough … What specific belling dies are you using?

Tumbling  powder coated bullets does not tend to hurt the bullet bases . Most casters that powder coat most probably tend to cast a rather hard prodcut … I might  suggest that you not change the text of your questions on base damage … It is far more likely that you will hurt the cast products bases by not belling the cartridge cases enough …  Tumbling to powder coat does not do the damage that you think that you are seeing or asking about … A powder coated product then needs to be sized down … prior to seating in the cartridge cases … Powder coating needs to be sized after powder coating lest the powder coat make the cast product too large in diameter to be properly seated correctly.  Nuff said …

You might possible also define what you mean by mediocre accuracy … I have seen advocates expound with replies … such as … minute of deer & perhaps also showing groups with fliers that greatly expand the actual group size by not counting the fired fliers as far as group size … also dinner  plates used as targets with shots scattered all over the dinner plate sized target … & included  with pride… To me mediocre accuracy is greater than 1 inch at any distance over two hundred yards . .. with all shots fired as part of said group …
