I am having trouble using this expander.  It works for 357 mag cases but I tied to use it on 9mm luger cases and it is not long enough.  The shell holder runs into the expander die before the expander flares the case.  Either I’m doing something wrong or just crazy.  These plugs work well but the adjustments seem difficult (Maybe it’s a Lee Thing).

You still need to use two expander plugs in the die body to get the plug down in the die
You may have to turn the one in the top of the die body upside down
        Check the LEE instructions

I am using the fat Lee plug on top of yours.  It is against the bottom of the die and will not go any lower.  Before the shell casing in the holder reaches the first step on the die, the shell holder has run into the die.  Please note that this plug works well with 357mag and 38 spl, just no real expansion on 9mm luger.  Perhaps there is a longer expander in that size.

My bullets for 9mm are your 124gr RN which cast between 3595 and 3600 with my alloy (unknown but mostly COWW).  I size to 3585 for 357 and for 9mm.  That expander seemed to be the ticket for having less flare but still allow the cast bullet to slip in.
