Participant::What the bevel base version should look like as drawn, but with a rounded lube groove and not quite as pointed nose.

Participant::The Slippery 9 was what brought about the this design thought from Swede.
The drawing is more of a SAECO #115 modified to make the 135gr mark.
I didn’t have a pic of one with a GC option as the drawing was in an old PM ( back before the NOE forum existed) and
we never really got that far with the idea.I could go for a GC screamin’ meanie version
I’ve seen so many group buys for FN and HP’s that a RN seems fresh and exciting.. lol
For now those are the only drawings I have. I’m sure if interest grows Swede will chime in.

Low Budget Shooter
That looks like a great idea!
I would prefer these modifications:
1. nose not quite so pointy – should be about the same as a SAECO #115 nose that it’s based off of. A drawing gives a 2D cutaway view that may make things look smaller than the 3D item?
2. lube groove a little smaller, preferably .060 – it’s fairly shallow compared to the one on the Slippery 9, a 16″ 9mm carbines like a lube groove that will carry homebrewed lubes to the end of the barrel reliably. If it was squared I’ might go .060 but rounded is much less. I’m thinking we went rounded for easier mold release… but back then NOE had 8 and 10 cavity molds. Idea was minimal tappin, they should just rollout.. ah, I get the happy tingles just thinkin’ about it
3. driving bands equal, maybe .100 – Hummm… would .010 be a deal breaker? if we get the Gas Check option then the rear band might be under .100
4. diameter .359 – I can hang with that
I hope this one gets made! – same here

It would be good if we could bring it over here.2016-11-29 at 20:27 #505399 -
