Im looking to fill with a bullet that’s easy to cast. This one should rain bullets. Im looking to use this to fill as many 38 specials as possible for my 22lr replacement using 700x, HS6 or unique cast as soft as I can get away with and powdercoated clear.

Can the HP design be order in a plain base ? If so, largest cavity volume (2, 4, 5, )?

PS: I’m new to the custom molds so if I’m understanding things, RG4 is the HP design in 4 cavity.

You are correct. You can get an RG4 plainbase mold. 4 is the max on hollow point designs. It will come with 3 sets of pins. Flat Nose, shallow and deep pins. I love the shallow pin. Looks like a Dold Dot.

Im getting two so when I set out to cast this bullet the cooling time and tempo between two molds gets you perfect bullets for an entire casting session.

Shallow pin should let the bullets come out super easy. Cast em soft and they should be super deadly even when slow

To confirm, I checked with Swede today and he said it will come with cup pins, deep pins, and flat pins if you order an RG2 or RG4 mold.  He said the cup pins really drop out of the mold faster/easier.  And I must admit… I am very excited for this one.
