I wanted to create a thread to get people’s casting & loading ideas and results with this bullet.  The group buy started with the name HTC310-168-SP(BT) and when the mold was cut the name changed to HTC310-174-SP.  I am interested in people’s results accuracy wise and general functionality of the bullet whether it be the boat tail or hollow point model.  Also, curious as to the performance of the bullet at different speeds.  Please post your results if you can.  I ended up getting the flu and haven’t been able to cast with my new molds yet, but hope to tomorrow.

I was able to get a bunch cast up in both BT and PB and then coated.  Now I need to try to find some time to do some load testing.

Has anyone tried this bullet in a 30-30? It looks like it should just about fit within the oal but it’ll be close. If anyone has got it to cycle in a 30-30 lever gun I’ll be getting me another mold I think!

Gotta check the tip to make sure it isn’t too pointy and risk setting off the round in front of it in the tube.
