Would anyone be interested in the HTC310-177-SP-BL2 5 Cavity BT  with HP ?  would that be possible ? It would be a nice 300 blackout subsonic Hollow Point bullet..  or something around 165gr ?

        Matthew…

The NOE RG (HP) moulds are normally either a 4 cavity or a 2 cavity version… To my knowledge the HP version has never been offered in a 5 cavity version… You would tend to have better luck in getting a HP version with the following HTC310-173 FP which has been made in the past in an HP mould design as the HTC310-177-SP BT has a very small nose meplat…  of .100 …

In order to HP that particular 177 Fr bullet you would have to shorten the 177 mould design @ 1.030 OAL of said mould design to make it more the HTC-310-133 FP @ .900 OAL  That version mould  has at least been made before in a HP version… For an out of stock mould you would only need a total of 5 individuals to request a new inventory run… including yourself of course … Subsonic you would not tend to need a GC version as subsonic is 1125 FPS or less… A GC version … at least for me tends to be needed around 1600 FPS plus…

A completely new design format … such as you have described that has not been made before would require a total of 10 individuals in a 6 month period requesting said mould once the draft design had been agreed to…

OBTW the HP version for the HTC 310-173 -FP  is predicted by NOE to weigh in at ~ 164 grains…

No boat tail but with a subsonic bullet that might tend to be not really needed at subsonic speeds.

Your call on how to proceed…
