Participant::So here are the results. The grouping was not bad at all and no feed issues. I will need to power it down just a bit, 1100 out of the vector and 975 out of the cz. I was getting some case bulging. So I will go from 3.6 grains to 3.2 grains wsf. I will say, they are some hard hitting 9mm rounds, we shot a full size steel spinner and was able to spin it in 7 shots from the pistol and 6 from the vector.

Full.Lead.TacoKeymaster::Got my mold today! Just cast up around 200. I’ll power coat and load a few tomorrow and do a range test. I’m really hoping that this bullet feeds well. I’ll post a picture of the grouping as soon as I get one.
Ahhh man, you beat me to it! I am dying to cast a pile of those up and shoot em in my 92′ as well as the gp100.

Participant::Totally loaded in 9mm case! When I saw this mold come up, I had to have one for my 9mm. My primary intentions were for my son’s vector, but they do really well out of my cz p09 as well. Like I said earlier, I do need to power them down just a little bit and that should tighten up the grouping. We are intending on using them only on stages that have pistol spinners. Normally we shoot a 130g round nose at about 1000 fps, it’s just doesn’t quite have enough punch for a spinner. But these 155g are pounders out of a 9mm, they make a nice pop when they hit steel. I will load up a few more at 3.2 grains tomorrow and see how they do. I will see about adding a link to a video when I shoot them. Sweet bullet!!

Participant::This is not a video on me shooting that new bullet, it more of a test to see if the link works. But it is a video of my vepr 12 shotgun that I have spent countless hours of time tinkering with in hopes to get it to cycle low brass bird shot. Yes, I did finally succeed. It was snowing like crazy today here in twin falls so hopefully tomorrow will be a range day.

Full.Lead.TacoKeymaster::I have a couple saiga 12’s that I modified to run low brass. I shoot clays with my 24″ barreled saiga.

Participant::Here is a short video on the bullet in action. Dropping the charge to 3.2 grains worked very well, no more case bulging and still maintained a decent speed. Correction to one of my last posts after I went back through my crony log, the 3.6 grains were moving at 1050 out of my cz not 975.
