I watched this video and was impressed to find how well this worked. Then I looked on the NOE web store and could not find a thermometer but only a probe to insert into the mould block. Is this something that you normally carry?  If so I will keep an eye on the web store for it’s return.  I’m in no hurry as I don’t have any mould blocks that are drilled. I can assure you they will be drilled from now on.  :) :) :)

I just looked at the NOE web-store and saw the probe and digital control unit shown with a NOE mould that had been drilled. They were still listed as out of stock but at least a photo shows what is included. In the description it said a drill bit and instructions how to drill the block were included. This is a great idea and a unexpected bonus as I have many molds that are not currently drilled.  It is on my wish list for sure.  :) :) :)

I have this one to keep track of my melt and mold temps. I can’t wait to try it on a drilled mold when the get completed. I may buy the one on the noe site since it fits the size of hole better.  This one from fleabay has worked good for me so far.  Just plug this item Number121184451514 in the search block.

I think I will wait for one from Al…I see in the web store they are listed as in stock on March 4. I usually purchase multiple items so they will ship together and save postage. Small things like gas checks, sizer parts, top punches etc. which will all fit in one box. Al has been good to me and I would rather give him my business and not someone on E-bay that I don’t know. I’m sure there are others who make, or sell items that are similar to items on this forum ,and good ones at that. But my loyalty is with NOE.

            Just my 2 cents. :) :) :)
