::IS NOE Still In Business?
I have five pending orders, dating back to January, that all show as being “In Shipping”. I have emailed Al several times about it, over the past month or two, and have received no reply. Their voicemail box is full and not accepting any messages.
I have been a customer of NOE since almost the beginning. I own a lot of his molds, and have always had decent customer service. So working with AL is not new to me. While I understand that these are extraordinary times, I’ve been very patient about waiting and the lack of response is inexcusable and troubling. Just tell me what’s happening, give me an update. Anything.
Otherwise, I have to assume that NOE is no longer in business, my order won’t be forthcoming and it’s time to initiate a credit card dispute.
Sheesh, wish I didn’t have to write this.

Moderator::Good Question…
I have noticed some very quiet movement in restocking at least one of the airgun moulds recently… I.E.https://noebulletmolds.com/site/product-category/224/217-20-rf-ce6-hunter-pellet/
On the 16th of this month there was an inventory request for a four cavity 217-20-RF Hunter air gun pellet in a four cavity configuration. At that time the entire mould offering in that particular mould apparently showed as out of stock (OOS) …
There are now 10 of the two cavity version in stock, and four of the four cavity version still in stock as of this instant in time…
There were also virtually none of the top punch holders in stock… a few days ago I reported on the forum in passing that 54 of said items suddenly appearing in stock… As of this AM there are now 51 of said items in stock.
The uncategorized page has listed a 357-190-RF 2 cavity GC mould offering for a while now… that was originally listed as 3 items in stock…
As of this AM it is now down to 1 in stock.
https://noebulletmolds.com/site/shop/uncategorized/357-190-rf-gc-group-buy-5-cavity/
So what ever is going on I cannot say … other than what I have been monitoring as requests and in stock items on the NOE store forum, for my own edification.
Al has also not answered any of my emails,… nor, … apparently any of the phone messages from the initiators of forum threads that have reached and surpassed the five and ten mould request limits as set by NOE before the first and indeed the second round of the COVID shutdown …
Why the phone messages are not being answered… I cannot say… nor can I say nor defend the fact that no emails are apparently being answered by NOE personnel including apparently Al. I am simply reporting what I have observed since January of this year…
This response is in no way a defence of what may be transpiring at NOE vs personnel and or staffing… I am interested myself in hearing the answer posted by NOE on the forum website…
It is simply an observation of a forum member who is interested in still getting some new molds… and helping those members who basically want the same thing…
Take Care, & Stay Safe…

Participant::Hey woodsroad@comcast.net, What phone number are you calling? 801-377-7289? I’ve never gotten kicked into voicemail and Al always answers. Maybe you’re calling a different number?

Yes, that’s the number. I’ve called it three times during business hours, no answer, got kicked to voicemail, but the box was full.
I just called it again (12am EST) and was able to leave a message.2021-04-29 at 05:47 #512804softwarejanitor
::I ordered a sizing bushing and pushrod that were listed as in stock the other day. I got an email saying that it had shipped. USPS tracking shows it in transit, shipped on 4/26 and the estimated delivery date is supposed to be today 4/29. Last update though was on 4/27 somewhere in an 81xxx zip code (I’m in 78xxx). It will be interesting to see if it shows up today. USPS has been a little slow and unpredictable lately. That’s not NOE’s fault of course.

::I order a sizing die Friday and it arrived Tuesday. Hope all is well with Swede.

I can likewise confirm that I just received my order. So they are definitely in business and shipping product. The question is how much new product are they able to manufacture right now. And is it a problem of material availability or shortage of labor that is causing the slowdown? NOE is in Utah, which as far as I’d heard has not been a big hot spot for Covid or subject to the kind of shutdowns that places like California have had. Of course if they can’t get materials, that’s another problem.

::That is weird. Just guessing that maybe item(s) in those orders are not actually in stock or something??? Seems like an inventory control issue. It is disturbing that there is apparently a lack of communication.
It seems to me like an apparently extremely loyal customer like you maybe at least deserves an email or phone call to explain why your orders are so far behind.

I fully understand all the myriad problems facing manufacturers that have been brought on by the ‘vid, and am more than willing to be patient about it. It’s not like I’m ordering supplies for doing heart valve replacements or something. I’d just like someone to tell me the real status of my orders. Thanks everyone for your input!

Moderator::It is interesting … In passing that two of the airgun mould offerings now apparently have stock in them… this morning…
https://noebulletmolds.com/site/product-category/224/217-24-rf-cc2-magnum-pellet/
It is my understanding that the air gun forum administrator is listed on the members list as being located in England…
It would appear that the order stock is by forum and store standards quietly being filled and shipped …
In the past when something was found to be not in stock at the moment when NOE went to pull it for one of my orders the order would sit in processing for a very long while… even though it showed in stock when I pushed the add to cart button until I rattled the cage… to ask via email what was going on… and why my order has not shipped…
That appears to be one of the details that may have fallen by the wayside .. the personal touch by NOE personnel to their customers… It is apparently sorely missed by the members…
Sometimes even then… that order would ship missing items with the email response promise that when the part was back in stock the missing item or items would ship to me on Al’s nickel for the shipping costs…
None of this helps you in your predicament to get the material that you ordered…
