IS NOE Still In Business?

I have five pending orders, dating back to January, that all show as being “In Shipping”. I have emailed Al several times about it, over the past month or two, and have received no reply. Their voicemail box is full and not accepting any messages.

I have been a customer of NOE since almost the beginning. I own a lot of his molds, and have always had decent customer service. So working with AL is not new to me. While I understand that these are extraordinary times, I’ve been very patient about waiting and the lack of response is inexcusable and troubling. Just tell me what’s happening, give me an update. Anything.

Otherwise, I have to assume that NOE is no longer in business, my order won’t be forthcoming and it’s time to initiate a credit card dispute.

Sheesh, wish I didn’t have to write this.

UPDATE

I’m happy to report that four of my five orders were shipped today.

Glad to hear it!  Hopefully your 5th order will ship soon and a lot more of us will start getting the same news!

May one ask what exactly is still remaining to get the final fifth order shipped…
That will potentially give the forum members a tiny bit of intel on what is going on production wise…

Certainly!

Whether or not this order is being held up for the backordered handles, I can’t say.

The handles are still out of stock, so that is a possibility…
The fact that you ordered the probe drilled for a temperature probe is also a possibility… as I understand from Al that the drilling needs to be scheduled as a separate machining process… that only comes into play if it is specially added to ones order… 

Looks like you got the last mould in mother hubbards cupboard… for that model of mould.

UPDATE

I just spoke with Al again, and he was a convivial as usual. Two of the molds that I ordered are in queue to be run, handles just showed up. I’m a happy camper.
