After using the NOE 1 lb. ingot mould and liking it I would like to have one in a larger size. Maybe 3 lb. or 5 lb., anyone else interested in a larger size? :) :) :)

yaaa, me too for a large size
Most of our electric pots for casting are in a 10 or 20lb size.
Ingots that are increments of 10 & 20 would be great.
        Say, 2 1/2lb and 5lb.

you know… I would probably buy something like that, or two or three.  Sometimes I process large amounts of lead, and something like this would come in very handy.

            I’d like one in a 2 1/2 and 5 lb configuration.

              I’d go for a 2 cavity-2 pound ingot mold.

Oh yes, 2, 2.5, 5 or 10 lb. molds interest me.

Well that makes 5 or 6 people who are interested. If several of those interested will buy 2 or more that should make 10. As these are not considered a bullet mould  I don’t know how many it would take for a group buy. Maybe Al could make a drawing and see if there is enough interest to go any farther. The only change I would like to see other than the size is a large NOE nameplate and the half moon with the letters NOE in large print. I can stamp the alloy description with metal stamps as this mould will be used to make special alloys that I make in lots of 75 to 100 lbs. So keeping it separate from the 1lb ingots lets me know that it is already a special alloy. When you have 1000 ingots, sometimes it’s difficult to know for sure where the ingots you need are located.  :) :) :)

Hi, Used my 1 lb ingot mould a few days ago. Nice, slick too. So I’d be interested in larger ingot mould also. Have a 40 lb pot. George

This would interest me as well depending on price

                            That makes roughly 10?

I’d be interested in a couple of the 5 pound or larger molds.

This is what I had in mind:

These two one-pound ingots, lined up end to end, represent a two-and-one-half pound ingot. I would like a large NOE logo on one end. In the middle, a place to mark ingot alloy. On the other end, the NOE crescent moon logo. The exact size and dimensions should be Al’s design choice.

I feel about two or three ingots this size is about right. Any more would be too heavy to handle safely. A five-pound or larger ingot would be difficult to handle with more than one cavity. This should also be left to Swede’s discretion.

Anything this large size may be cost prohibitive.

The reason I want this design is that I want to advertise the products NOE makes. From time to time, I have reloading or casting friends in my workshop. I want to leave these in plain site so they will ask about them and (maybe) I can convince them to try an NOE mold.

I need more molds and I want to make sure NOE is a profitable and long-term business. They need to make money. The more molds they can sell, the better chance I can still get one of their classics 10 years from now.  :) :) :)
