I want to start using a Lyman Lubrisizer, but don’t want to mess with heating the lube.

Are there lubes out there that don’t need heat?

      Thanks,

I use White Label lubes and their BAC, 2500 and 50/50 lubes all flow well at room temperature.

I’ve seen NOE’s 225 45Gr WFN I cast used in a 22 Hornet at just under 3K (gas-checked) with no leading (Ruger barrel), lubed with Ben’s Red.  Always easy in a Lube-sizer at room temps, and I like my home pretty cool.

I got a Lyman 4500 lubrisizer with heater for Christmas.

Picked up the needed top punches and a 360 sizing die at a super price from Amazon

You can’t go wrong w/ anything from White Label.  I prefer 2500+ but it will take some heat in the winter months if you’re further north and your reloading area is unconditioned.

I’ve used Ben’s Red down to 15*F in my RCBS lubrisizer without the aid of the heater.

A minute or so with a hairdryer is all it takes to get Carnauba Red to flow. There’s really no good reason not to use this most awesome of lubes.

I have tried several and prefer White’s BAC for pistol and revolver bullets.
