I have been researching molds for a new cz 527 in 7.62 i have coming in but it seems the molds im finding are no longer available or perhaps the catalog # has changed.  Id love to hear whats working for some of you other 527 7.62 owners out there!  Id like something good for hunting.  Thanks!

I thought there was a ranch dog bullet for the 7.62×39 with a nice wide meplat made specifically for that rifle.  I can’t seem to find it though.

It is in the .308-.311 section all the way at the bottom.  This is the bullet I use in my CZ 527 and probably what he is looking for since hunting was mentioned. I use it mostly for banging steel and it shoots great. In the pic below you can see mine coated in Hi Tek and gas checked.

I do not know if you are still looking but I have a spare 314-129-SP in BRASS that I purchased by mistake. I have a problem with my wrist and it is just to heavy for me. I purchased the same in Aluminum and I get good groups with it out of my AK-47 with Accurate 5744 powder. I think its a waist for it to just sit unused.

Anything to trade? I shoot a lot of 30 cal stuff I like .310 to .312

I do not need a lot for it I would just like to see it get used.

I think that new HTC 135 powder coat design would be great in the 762×39, but it is a new design and needs to be tested.

I suppose it depends upon what you’re hunting.  One of the lighter flat-nosed bullets in GC form like the 311008 sized .312-.313″ should be pretty deadly on smaller game.  I’ve shot the Saeco 315 clone  and they work rather nicely.

I’m anxious to try the htc design in my ak, but I’m also hesitant to buy one. ive been trying to find some info on molds and so far the one listed in this thread has showed up for bolt guns but not for ak or sks. I’m really thinking I need to get my hands on the htc mold.

I think this one might work for you, but I have not tested mine yet, unfortunately.
