I have an NOE/RD 432-300 GC mold that I bought in a group buy a few years ago.  I love the bullet and the mold, except for one thing.  The mold has always been difficult to open.  I only keep about 1/2 the bullets I drop from it cause so many get damaged trying to open it up.
I always thought is was a handle issue, that the angles are off or something.  So I bought some handles from NOE hoping that would solve the problem.  I adjusted those handles as recommended, but the problem still exists.

      Any Suggestions?  Thanks

It sounds like a alignment pin / bushing problem
Do the blocks open OK with out the handles on?

It could be the bushing has a very small burr on the bottom of the bevel that the pins go in to
If you have a RCBS case mouth chamfer tool, run it around the bevel and see if it helps.
You can use a rolled up piece of fine sand paper too. Just lightly polish the bottom of the bevel.

If this is something you don’t want to do send it back and will check it out

take a piece of fine sand paper, or emery  cloth and polish very lightly the place the mould alignment pins go. this should smooth up it opening and closing but not affect the mould alignment.
