(recalibradas a 253).
Greetings from Andalucia.
I got my first Bobtail batches from Mr. Bob Sterne, molds: 250/51 BT and HP (recalibrated 253) and 250/41 BT. (Recalibrated to 253).
They are the ones that give me better groups in my BT 65 LW cannon without shock. Use 1% tin alloy with lead.
Finally my Hatsan BT65 moves them at a turning speed of 290/297 mx seconds (217 joules) of 41 g, and 277mx seconds of 51 g (127j) .It has cost me the tuning too much time and money. And I have been very disappointed With the “Spanish armourer masters”, with continuous breakdowns in the equipment.
But now the groups are a 30 / 40m inch. And surely recalibrating to 254 can be improved, there are lots of impacts together, and a few more distant ones, with the typical form of vertical groups of an unregulated rifle. Giving 8/9 shots from 190 bar to 140.
Sorry to not share images: my old seven “windows XP professional” is not compatible with Photobuket. It is almost as old as me: I am on Monday 58 years. I promise to put photos when I change the operating system of my PC for an updated one.
I love casting, I get lots of bullets very similar and with very few defects.
