Here it it is, guys. Please tell us how many would like to have one.

In WW with the GC installed the BC will be .382

In Lino it will have a BC of .362 w/GC

        Welcome aboard, bjorn.

This is the one to shoot BSed in your rifle. It would be interesting to know what the difference is in your elevation setting for this one or, the difference in POI between the two.

          Hi everyone,
I don’t know why this bullet has lost traction but, let’s get it back on track.

Who else would like this very aerodynamic well designed bullet?

It’s lighter than all bullets that I know of in it’s BC range.

The nose is shorter to control slump than you get with the heavier bullets.

The lighter weight will reduce recoil at higher velocitys.

If we can get it into production, I will personally test it right out of the box, to above 2700 fps and report back.

This will be interesting. It should work verywell with my new uni-throater (.310 diameter, .75 degree per side taper). I will cut throat deep for better support and alignment.

That would be up to Al, It would his decision, whether to offer a larger size.

I designed the bullet to be shot in chambers that have free bores, no larger than .310, such as the 308 Win and so that it can be sized down w/o destorting to .308 for chambers that have jacketed size freebores like the .3082 Palma free bore.

It’s also a pretty good fit for the ’06 chamber (if they aren’t wore out), as the ogive will match the angle of the ’06’s throat and will fit in the neck w/o the GC below the neck/shoulder juction.

My mass produced Remington 700 (308 NATO chamber) has a .311 diameter, .150 long leade. So a larger diameter option would be better for that gun.

My other 308 barrel was cut with a PTG minimum SAMMI 308 Winchester reamer and has a .310 diameter, .090 length leade. I am certain I will have to cut the leade longer for this bullet to work best in this barrel.

This bullet has verygood potential “IF” it fits. Such as older 30-06 rifles with longer worn throats.

                  Detox,
In the SAAMI min. chamber, the diamension from the neck/shoulder junction to the end of the .310 freebore is .435.

My Hornady GC’s are .055 deep and the forward point of the GC will be .405 so, the GC will be partially in the neck (about .030). If you jam the COAL in the throat, there will be even more of the GC in the neck. So, it may work ok.

I would also recommend using resized ’06 brass (especially Mil Match), to get a thicker neck for more support.

28 Jun 19. Yes I still want one. I would like to change to aluminum, two of the one in 4 cavity pb with thermometer hole and
one 4 cavity gc  with thermometer hole

if the brass is engraved in stone I would be happy with that instead of aluminum. Thanks George
