That is ok, I think it will work in my 6.5x.284 looking at the drawing. It might fit my single shot Grendel, but if it doesn’t that is ok too.

That is ok, I think it will work in my 6.5x.284 looking at the drawing. It might fit my single shot Grendel, but if it doesn’t that is ok too.

After  doing a chamber cast I am going to have to withdraw from this one. The nose is too big even for my 6.5x.284. If it was the same size as the Grendel nose I could use it. Too bad I don’t have a 6.5×55 around anymore

Can someone provide the link to the discussion thread? I’d like to find out which caliber this will fit. Looking at all the SAAMI bore specs for 6.5mm calibers, I couldn’t find any that the nose would fit snugly. Is it for a wildcat?

I do not believe there is one.  This is a bullet that Al (Swede) needed for his Swedish Mauser (6.5×55) as well as a couple other guys.
