There is a thread going here that started as a 429421 and drifted toward the H&G 503 Clone which was the last 44 cal “Keith Bullet” Elmer designed. The 429421 was designed for the 44 Special. Elmer redesigned the 503 for the 44 Magnum and features 3 – .1″ drive bands.

I would like a 5c Solid Aluminum 432 PB but there were quite a few that want RG molds.

I included Dale 53’s drawing in the first post for reference only. That was the Cast Boolits group buy. Swede’s bullet is .002 longer with the meplat .001 larger. Swede’s design is perfect, just minor mold/bullet variation.

Will this bullet be to the above drawing? I hope so. I just looked at a H&G web sight and their 503 does not look to have all bands of equal width? Also, there are other variations 503S and 503SX?

Just got to casting with my brass version of this mold. PERFECT. Using 9ww + 1 pure + 2% tin it casts a filled out, .432+ bullet at 650 degrees. This is with force feeding against the spout of my down pour pot.
