NOE Expanding Plugs and the 380 ACP

Anyone using these on the .380 Auto?  I’m trying to use the .357 x .353 (auto pistol version) with my Lee die and I can’t get the case in far enough to reach the flare on the plug before the shell holder hits the bottom of the die.  Am I going to have to cut a few threads off the die body?  Thanks!

I think I had an issue with the 25acp, not the 380. But I haven’t reloaded for the 380 (yet) so I may encounter the same issue. Unless, of course, I use the expander die I “fixed”. My solution was to take a 9/16″ chucking reamer and push down that ridge inside the expander plug that keeps the expanders too high in the body. Works great. I suppose cutting threads off the bottom would work too.
