I just got my sizing die from you and was wondering if you really need to lube the cast bullets before sizing them?I got the .25 die and 3 different size bushings.
If you are not sizing much (.0005 to .0010) and soft alloy you should have no problems But a light lube makes a big difference on bigger, harder bullets.
I lube 1 bullet with a light coat of imperial sizing die wax and run it through to give the inside of the die a light coat, then you’re good for lots of boolits unlubed. If you start to feel some resistance then run another lubed one through. I’ve used mine to size down some .375 jacketed bullets to .368 for my 9.3x57mm. Lots of lube and they pop right through
