I’m new here, but just traded into a 1976 Marlin 44 mag and I’m looking for a mold. I don’t have a bullet lube machine so I’d be interested in a tumble lube design. Most of my shooting will be punching paper or sage rats, but I also want something that would work on deer, or late season cow elk hunts(usually sneak within 75 yards of the herd) So with that said I’m open to suggestions and will tag along with you fellers with my wallet at the ready! I would also like to express my interest in buying some (50-100) bullets that have been cast with WW from a ranch dog mold for Marlin 44 Magnum.
I’ve seen a few requests for this mold in other places, recently. As of this morning, in fact, there were two people asking where they can find this mold, over on the MarlinOwners forums.
I’m happier with the 265 RF, but it never hurts to bump a thread to help the people that are interested.
This is a really good bullet for either the 44 Mag or 444 Marlin, my favorite of the series.
Unfortunately Jerry had a stroke in the spring of this year. In my last correspondence with him, last week on some .32acp RD, he said he was out of the bullet business. He will be missed.
