Is there enough intereast in Keith SWC moulds that Keith had the say on final design to get group buys together?

I’m in for RG4s and RCBS nose punches in 38,44 & 45 cal

This discussion start is in response to an older thread  started August 05  “Real” Keith Bullets started by LAH  on CB that has grown from 81/2 pages to 13 since October and is worth reading for history.

There are 38, 41, 44 & 45 samples cast from original available that Prochko (PJP) worked with Keith to get it right read page 8

          Al:  Drawings look great  ;D

Read Creekers CB thread again for the ??  Many times years back.

Got a spare Dillon tool head. ;)

Good excuse to get another wheel gun :)

Guess I need to add the 41 in RG4 & RCBS nose punch to make it a clean sweep.

Yeah this one’s gonna hurt. A 5 cavity and brass RG4 in the 38-41-44-45 calibers. Top punches also (RCBS/Lyman) please.

I’d like the .44 version in a 3 cavity aluminum. Would be nice if it dropped at least .432″.

Aren’t the H&G 503 just produced and the 358429, earlier production, actually the “real” Keith designs for 44 and 38? I think the 45 was also done earlier.

Think they had a few minor changes, shortened first driving band &  rounded grease grooves however – IMHO – Check the CB thread and / or ask the experts there

It’s still what shoots best in your X at whatever distances you shoot.

These 4 are as close to the steel masters that Ed Shaller made with Paul looking over his shoulder and running them back and forth to Elmer as most of us will ever have the chance of owning.  His post on page 8 of the CB thread.

I would like to have a 38 and 45 caliber version. Is there an option for Hollow Point?

                              I will take a .412 alum. plain
This will go with my Saeco 230 and Lyman .410459 :)

I expect there will be both RG2 & RG4 (2 or 4 cavity). As well as fixed FP.  I’ll snivel big time if not :'( and have plenty of sniffling company

Most likely a 5 cylinder FP in AL blocks

RG will probably have pins for HP and FN and ?one other? set.  Gives you multiple choices with 1 mould, you can mix pins if you like.  Work like Zorro’s sword.

Here is my TOTALLY UNOFFICIAL tally

Confirmed Y / N was added if the post had a comment about waiting to see the drawings or something that sounded like a maybe instead of an “I want”

                                  Keith%20moukds_zpsskublpt0.jpg

Tried to insert table and several other things.  Finally had excel convert to PDF, scanned it as jpg and added image

                                  I wants to maybes
                                  38  10 to 12
                                  41  8 to 9
                                  44    7
                                  45  10
Surprising that the 44 is the laggard.  Would have expected the 41 to be in last place ???

Do not know if Al can invert the blocks and CNC program to do a RG option for HB or if that would take different tooling and thus a minimum of 10 “I wants”

                                    .434 RG2 plain base aluminum
