::The 4 cavity plain base looks good to me is it possible to tumble lube this design with good results? Ive been casting bullets since I was a couple teen 30 years ago (NSSA Shoots) But just recently started reloading cartridge guns with cast billets. Currently reloadinng for my 357 Marlin/ruger security six. But I plan to add the 44 magnum and hopefully some type of 45acp.

I tumble lube everything. I’m shooting these two bullets in my 444 Marlin at over 42.0k PSI. The 265, I call it a 275, cooks along at 2400 FPS when I need the energy deliver to large big game.

::How well do these do in revolvers?
I shoot both the 265 & 300 in my Taurus M44C which is a conceal carry 44 Mag snubby. With that purpose in mind, I only shoot inside 15 yards but it is a ragged hole shooter. I did have customers who used the bullets in revolvers for big game hunting and was sent pictures of their success so I assumed the bullets were appropriate and produced the level of accuracy needed for the task.

I did have a customer ask me to set up the above picture as he wanted to see at what point the bullet ogive engaged the forcing cone. I guess he was pleased as he bought the mold. This is the 300-grain bullet, the nose on the 265 is .030″ shorter and the body has one less lube groove. The top band is .020″ shorter so that is the real difference in fit between the two, the 265 would be .020″ further forward when it engages the cone.
