Hello. Im trying to load some cast bullets from my NOE225/70rn mold. After finding a seating depth that would put me 20thou off the lands of my ruger American ranch bolt action.  my coal comes to 2.063. This looks really short. Does anyone have any experience of loading this bullet or advice as to weather it’s safe to shoot with it being that short. I’m struggling to post photos at the moment. Many thanks.

Depends on the type and amount of powder being used

According to Quickload it is running around 26000 psi at that depth.

Keep in mind that this is a bore ride bullet.

You may want to change your alloy and see if you can get it to cast a smaller nose or try sizing it.
It shoots great with a COL of about 2.28″ if you bore will let you.
