I’m helping a friend get a 5.7 Johnson Spitfire shooting.
It needs a 40gr 223/223.5 bullet. Hart to find.
There are 40gr 224 jacketed available.
I have a NOE sizer die set.
Question is can I size the 224 to 223 with the air gun 223 size bushing????

Should be able to but lube the bullets with some imperial sizing die wax or Hornady unique case lube first.

Be careful when sizing jacketed as the copper jacket can spring back somewhat but the lead core will not, this can build instability into the bullet and at worst lead to jacket/core separation when fired.
