If a new boolit is designed by NOE for use in .22 center fire  cartridges for hunting tree squirrels, etc. should the boolit weigh 46-48 g and be offered in plain base and GC? It will need a wide flat point like the Ranch Dog bullet at least 0.160″ wide. This weight  can be used in the .22 Hornet as well as the .222 Rem, .223 , etc.??
      Anyone interested??
      Thanks!
      Jim

I would love to see a .225 mold in a wadcutter design. Have it come with 2 pins. The first pin makes the WC style, the second pin is cut to make it a SWC…

yes, count me in on the small game boolit design, something to duplicate rimfire loads.  xp

I like the GC design, looks like some additional lube could be held between the check and driving band.  Looks like an excellent small game bullet for reduced 22 Hornet loads.
The design looks like it will fill out well and should cast a higher percentage of acceptable bullets.

All things being equal (kinda), would there be enough power to cycle a semi auto loading say H4895?

                  Swede,
I am in for this mold. When can I order it?
                  I want a 4 cavity(2 PB & 2 GC).
                  Thanks!

Curious… what would this weigh if it didn’t have a lube groove? For say a coated bullet… Doable?

I’m down for one either way. I’ve got an older Remington Varmint Special in 223 that loves light weight bullets, it’s a laser. Most likely a 2 cavity for me.

Coated and gas checked there’s nothing holding this back from the speeds it would be capable up in a few of the 22 cal rifles… just an idea.

                              I’d be up for a 4-cav, with 2 gc and 2 pb.

Like the wide meplate. Would rather see the diameter at .227 – .228    Would also like to see this design in a 60 – 64 grainer. I’d be interested in either weight. First choice for me would be 60 – 64 grain.

The whole point in the bullet is to give us a lighter weight… I think there are already a few heavier options out there. My 1-12 twist 223 needs something light. Heavy bullets just won’t work.

Would like to keep this one light too.
