Several years ago this topic was considered and nothing ever came of it. Al had drawn up several drawings for it and one was just what I wanted. About this time NOE had several problems in production and this was one that got side lined and forgotten. I am still interested and hope that others are also.
The one I like is about 285 grains and the heavy one is over 300…about 340 if I remember correctly. The old group buy discussion is on page 5.

I may be recalling it wrong, but was the 285gr. an SSK mold/design? I had thought their 44 mag molds were the 310 gr. and 340gr., with expected casting variations? Maybe, the 285 gr. was a later NEI variation, but again I may have it all wrong. I seem to remember that the original SSK design was a definite truncated cone with a wider full diameter front band. Maybe I was messing the bullet up in the sizer, it’s been a bit. Only conversation.

I started that post and supplied some samples. There was one about 225gr, another at about 260gr and others at 310 (the most famous) and 350 with a GC. The fist 3 were plain base. Later some were designed with dual crimp grooves and heavier weights.
There was just not enough interest. Swede also drew one at 280gr. The post is still here if you look back. I gave up waiting and had custom molds made for the 225 and 260. The only problem is most custom molds are lathe bored and Mine had sharp rather than rounded corners on the meplat. It probably didn’t mater, they shoot fine. BUT, I would still like a true copy of the 260gr version.
