      Hello to all,
i’m on the project to build a 308 condor.

i have access to some barrel  and i need your help concerning twist rate
      12″, 10″, 14″ twist rate

my goal is to shoot as flat as possible i think make a try on the 135 gr bullet on Noe in the 1000 fps range
my gunsmith affirm be able take 300 fpe from a condor with 308 caliber (valve totally rebuild,4500 psi tank)
      does make sense to you?

      many thanks for your help

      Thierry

I would suggest the 14″ twist for bullets up to 135 gr…. I hope you are in contact with Doug Noble, his Condors are the BEST out there…. His valves are awesome….

The 135 gr. will work fine in a 12″ twist…. and you can probably use the 155 gr.BBT, but it will be slower, of course…. There will be lots of flat-based bullets that will work as well, even heavier than that….

                  hello to all
i think try different weigth for different use (hunt, target, plinking)

Shorter, lighter bullets will generally work, whereas ones too long for the twist rate will tumble…. You should always choose a twist rate based on the longest bullet you will use….
