I came across the TLC313-150 hollow point and want to know if anyone has tried this in an SKS (Chinese or Yugo)?  Any issues with feeding?

      Thanks.

I’ve shot them in my two Yugos. They shot the very best of any bullet (cast or jacketed) to date using 21.0gr Reloader 7 but, they were also powder coated with Smoke’s John Deer Green while using the hollow points and sized to .314″. They fed very well, with none hanging up. When checked, there were some heavy marks on the nose from feeding semi auto but again, these shot the very best in my rifles. I don’t remember checking for nose damage again after I started to PC them.

I did purchase this mold and have cast a number of bullets.  I am powder coating.  Fairly happy with the result.  However, when testing last Tuesday (celebrating the 4th) I had one that fragmented with a pattern showing hundreds of impacts on the target (needle size) with one larger hole laying sideways in the middle.  Been knocking my brains out to determine why.  All others (about 50) I have tested, shot fine though the casings are just dropping at my feet (not ejecting very far).

Using standard wheel weights for casting material.  Tested with a chronograph yesterday.  Speed at about 1900 fps.  Any thoughts on what could be the issue?

Also, having some issues with feeding. Several caught feeding into the chamber (could be I need to seat deeper?).

          Thanks,
