Top punches for FP & SWC

I just got my NOE push through sizing die and bushings and have been sizing PC’d plain base bullets nose first with it. I have GC bullets that I want to size base first to seat the GC. My question(s) are since the CG molds are from RCBS and LEE, do I need those bullet specific top punches or would the NOE calibers push rods be correct? The bullets I am referring to are SWCs and RNFP.

With flat nosed bullets I would just use the rods as supplied.

I find just pushing them though nose first crimps gas checks just fine, I use the NOE gas check seater first if there is a less than perfect click on fit.
