A short video with one of my favorite activities: blow up milk jugs with flying lead.

As a side note, I can’t wait for that slick sided HTC 173 gr .359 bullet mold to be produced so it can replace my lee swc plinker mold.  For those of you who haven’t cast with a slick sided mold yet, the bullets almost seem to jump out of the molds.

I smiled and laughed nearly the entire range portion. That was awesome. What were your first thoughts of the double loaded shot? That was impressive.

Yeah, the 2 x bullet load surprised me.  It made it “rain” a lot longer than the others.  Any ideas why that happened?

I am not a physics expert but if you remember that movie called ” the core” where they had to use either one large bomb or several smaller bombs to go off in a set timing to string along the explosion for maximum effect. I would say it has something to do with that. Having 2 smaller projectiles giving that milk jug a real fast 1, 2 punch for maximum splash.
Imagine what those 500 magnum concept hollow points would do.

Me too. We still need 8 folks to sign up? Hopefully before summer ends it gets run. I really want to try that mold out.
I look forward to the next range video Sir.

That sounds like a plan. Only problem is I don’t have a S&W 500… yet. It’s on my wish list.
